Becca is on the move
Last Friday Becca officially started crawling. She had been doing the wounded solider body drag for a while or the throw the body forward and hope it gets me in the right direction. But on Friday she was actually on knees and hands and moved forward (I believe that makes it official). Yeah Becca! I'll post pictures later. She's only recently been interested in moving around, so I think she made progress quickly. She's so much like her father! Once they put their minds to something, considered that challenge conquered. Maybe not right away but they are persistent enough to get the job done. I think it might be nice to raise a little Todd.

Elmo LIVE!
So instead of throwing Bella a birthday party with friends this year we decided we'd buy tickets to the Elmo show. Well, it was a big hit. In fact after she woke up from her nap (she fell asleep n the way home), she told me, "that was fun!" and then covered her mouth as she laughed. I don't know who does that. Must be from school, but made me laugh even harder so the rest of the day she was covering her mouth when she would laugh or smile. Also, when asked about what Elmo did at the show, she would start kicking her legs, like she was kicking a soccer ball, and I thought ok, well I guess he might have done that. Hum, looks like that's what he was doing to me. Way to go Bella! That is some memory. And speaking of way to go - Bella got a "Happy Gram" from school the other day. Here is what it said: "Today during Stretch-n-Grow, the teacher asked What is this muscle (she was pointing to her tibealus) and Bella responded Tibealus. Way to go Bella! Way to know your muscles!" Ok, anyone know where that muscle is?
Somebody's been sleeping in my bed
I was trying to change Bella, so I put Becca in her crib to keep her occupied while I dealt with Bella. When I was done, I turned around and Becca had pulled up on the railing of her crib and was gnawing on it. Bella and I thought this was funny, and we started laughing, and then Bella wanted into the crib so she could join in on the gnawing. At one point they were both along the railing with their mouths on it. I didn't get the camera in time to take that picture, but I snapped a few anyway. (sidenote: I just asked Todd how to spell "gnaw" and he said, "like I gnaw your bones". me, "uh...yea, like that")
